Arboriculture is the growing, management, and research of specific trees, hedges, vines, and other seasonal woody plants.
Most of the tree cutting is performed in current times with power tools like chain saws or electric saws. In earlier days, axes have been the tools of choice where an Arborist or Lumberjack would fell a tree by making a rear cut or bore at the base of a tree, which would result in the normal center of gravity collapsing on the rear cut and finally cause the tree to collapse.

Our Tree Cutting Techniques
Back Pulling
This entails splitting a tree opposed to its natural lean angle and can be used in order to remove a tree from its base trunk. In general, back pulling is done using a winding mechanism or winch to stabilise the tree at it’s tip and control it’s decent reducing the risk of it falling and causing damage.
Tree Driving
This includes cutting the tree in a specified way and angle to cause a tree to collide onto another and pull down the two. This is generally just achieved in a forestry environment due to the fact that there isn’t much space to handle for domestic tasks.
